The Friends of the Conrad Weiser Homestead are sponsoring a basket‑making class on Sunday, May 17, 2026, from 12:30 to 5:00 PM. This hands‑on workshop invites participants to learn traditional basket‑making techniques while creating a functional and beautiful Market Basket to take home.
Guided by an experienced instructor, attendees will be led step by step through the process, making this class suitable for beginners and experienced crafters alike.
The cost to attend is $50 for Friends of the Conrad Weiser Homestead members and $60 for nonmembers. If possible, participants are asked to bring the following items: 10 spring clothespins, a bucket, a flathead screwdriver, a ruler or tape measure, an old pair of scissors, and a towel. If you are unable to bring these items, they will be provided for use during the class.
