Four historic properties will be open for guided tours on September 19 for the Friends of the Conrad Weiser Homestead. The Center for Pennsylvania German Studies, located in the Dewees Tavern, has 5 exhibition galleries and archives. The Henry Muhlenberg House is a fully furnished house museum interpreting the families of Lutheran pastors Henry Muhlenberg and his son General Peter Muhlenberg. The Speaker’s House is an ongoing restoration project and the site of a Pennsylvania German kitchen garden. The Augustus Lutheran Church is also included in our fun-filled day.
