fly-fishing demonstration (weather permitting)
The Friends of the Conrad Weiser Homestead are sponsoring a hands‑on basket‑making class where participants learn traditional techniques and create a functional Market Basket to take home. Guided step by step by an experienced instructor, the workshop is suitable for both beginners and experienced crafters.
Visitors will have the opportunity to see numerous 18th-century craft demonstrators, from quill writing to weaving. Learn about the historical context, materials, and equipment of the mid- to late-18th century. Some demonstrators will also have their materials for sale. At 3 pm, there will be a short ceremony marking the reopening of our log building.
